A Review on Collaborating Blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT) Technologies

Abstract

Internet of things technology is continuously enhancing our living standards by allowing us to connect with our daily device objects easily and transforming these connecting devices into smart and autonomous one. However the technology faces many challenging issues mainly in the security and data reliability domain. The Blockchain technology having its origin in cryptocurrency named Bitcoin with decentralized nature comes out as a viable solution which can tackle several of these IoT challenges. This paper presents an overview of both the technologies mentioning the benefits and challenges. It provides the analysis of the collaborating blockchain technology in IoT scenarios.
