Impact of Location on a Business Venture

Abstract

Today’s day and age is seeing a lot of businesses and business ideas cropping up. Each idea and venture is more innovative and creative than the previous one. Naturally this leads to a lot of competition among themselves. However, a lot of these ventures fail before they even see their launch day. The reasons behind this are more than what any one person can quantify, but some factors have always been common. This paper attempts to analyse, understand and allocate importance to the various factors that influence or play a major role in deciding where an entrepreneur should start their journey. Quantitative analysis was done through online questionnaires. Through careful study and evaluation, it was determined that the two most contributing factors to a business are the marketing strategy and the strategic placement of the business.
