Abstract

The paper presents a unique approach to handle COVID 19 pandemic with are many key features that need to exist in order for someone to be forgiving. The topic of forgiveness used to be almost the exclusive domain of philosophers and theologians. In the last three decades, however, considerable attention has been paid to forgiveness by a host of professionals including educators, psychologists, therapists and health practitioners. Without these qualities, it would be difficult for someone to merely forgive and forget another’s wrongdoing towards him. Some of these qualities are:It can be said that patience is the key to all good virtues. It is clear that forgiveness cannot exist without patience. If someone commits an offence which results to us losing patience, then it will only lead us to anger and intents to take revenge against the offender.  On the other hand, if we are able to exercise patience against them, it will be easier to forgive and forget all of their wrongdoings. Thus it comes to no surprise that Allah S.W.T promises great rewards for those who are patient Therefore we must try our absolute best to not return an evil deed with another evil deed. We must not return insult with insult, rumour with rumour, slander with slander as it will only aggravate the situation. Rasulullah s.a.w said: “If someone insults you with a weakness that he knows about you, you must not insult him with a weakness that you know about him.”
