Blockchain Technology Supporting E-Voting Systems For Data Security Management

Abstract

Voting is a method of voting and calculating the vote in an election to achieve the desired outcome. But nowadays it is still done conventionally. In the process have some constraints, such as cheating on the calculation of the election letter. 4.0 Industrial revolution by utilizing technological advances can be utilized as a tool for voting by using computer media that realize the creation of electronic Voting, making it easier to calculate incoming electoral letters. The research purposed to understand the benefits of blockchain technology by implementing a decentralized system. In this study there were 10 (ten) literature studies on electronic voting and blockchain. With the blockchain technology applied in electronic Voting is expected to provide valid Voting results, and can manage data security where the Voting results can not be manipulated and can be kept validity.
