Abstract

The today scenario is very challanging for the researchers because the demand of indutries increasing day by day. Some of the application like Ball bearing requires special method of super finishing, complicated shapes of cutting tools used for machining of enconel type hardest material on earth etc. Equipments used in surgery, space mission also  depends on finishing quality of there machinery parts finishing quality, tubes used where application of vacuum is required etc. Today there are number of processes available universal as well as non universnal. The both methods can produce nano level surface finish but universal methods fails to meet the demand of stiff tolerance,  soft matrial finishing, to make burr free surface of complicated  shapes where conventional tool cannot reach. The problem of micro crack as well as distortion in surface arises is only because of old methods. The new methods advanced  methods are capable to deal with all such problems. In this research paper the consequencesbetween various taking inspecifications upon   reponse parameter (PISF) investigated. For this  experimentaion  one of the hardest material Steel was used. It was shown that micron level surface finish obtained with the Magnetic abrasive finishing technology.
