Impact of Distributed Denial of Service attack in Internet of Things Applications- An Overview

Abstract

Abstract: The modern era is outraged with the accumulation of immense internet of things applications. The ultimate buzzword of these applications is related to the security and privacy of the bulk amount of data generated every moment and the way it is being used. These applications are exposed to different types of attacks which can cause unimaginable destruction if not managed and controlled with enough foreseeing. This paper uncovers the various security attacks involved in the Internet of Things applications and scrutinize the Denial of Service attack in detail. A proposed method to prevent the Denial of Service attack using machine learning techniques is also elaborated.
