A Perspective on Quantum Cryptography Protocols

Abstract

These Days most of the secured communications are required in the field of military and commercial areas. Quantum cryptography exchanges the information between two parties using the secret key. For information transferring the protocols are very vital for security. A variety of quantum cryptography protocols have been developed to perform this task. Confidentiality, integrity and availability are basic triad of cyber security. The protocol plays a major role to provide confidentiality in the secured information from unauthorized access. The most popular quantum cryptographic protocols were compared in this manuscript. One is the Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and its BB84, SARG04, and B92 protocols, including Y00 protocol, etc. The QKD provides completely secured interaction based on quantity dynamics.
