Computational Analysis on Effect of Plenum Shape on The Thermal And Hydraulic Performance of Microchannel Heat Sink
Abstract
Microchannel heat sink is a innovative cooling technology employed in electronic equipments .As the dimension of microchannel is very small its inlet and outlet arrangement make a great impact on heat dissipation.During this work we consider microchannel heat sink with taper shape manifold arrangements.There are three arrangement we made in taper shape manifold arrangements.These three arrangements are (a) up side taper shape manifolds (b) up-down side taper shape manifolds (c) down side taper shape manifolds.We analyse all of them computationally at different heat inputs with reynold number range of 387-892.
