Effect of Different Parameters on Surface Properties of Super Alloys Using Magnetic Abrasive Finishing and Chemo Assisted Magnetic Abrasive Finishing Process
Abstract
In technologically advanced era demand of progressive engineering materials like Tungsten, Titanium, Nickel alloys increases day by day. These materials have some uncommon attributes, for example, high hardness, high wear resistance, high durability, high Strength which makes them favored over ordinary materials in present day enterprises. Because of the stringent properties these materials are hard to process. Distinct surface machining/finishing procedures like lapping, grinding, buffing and honing are commonly inefficient in operating these constituents. In the following study, an effort has been made to study diverse process characteristics of magnetic abrasive finishing process and chemo assisted magnetic abrasive finishing process for finishing Inconel-718 flat surface.
