Abstract

The most common Welding processes used in industry which uses gas and flux for coating the material are Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Metal Arc Welding, Submerged Arc Welding and Tungsten Arc Welding are classified as molten metal techniques. Oxides and nitrides are formed when molten metal reacts with air. All welding process use a couple of strategies for shielding the liquid weld pool from the air. The Submerged Arc Welding methodology is regularly preferred in light of the fact that it offers increment of creation rate, high dissolving effectiveness, straightforwardness of motorization and low talented administrator required. The nature of weld relies on upon bead geometry of the weld which thus relies upon the process parameters. The joint quality can be evaluated regarding properties, for example, weld-bead geometry, mechanical properties, and twisting
