Statistical Analysis Of The Use Of Internet Resources By University Students

Abstract

 “Internet is one of the important tools utilized by the students and faculties for learning purpose in education. In particular, the internet is a precious asset of facts utilized by student in quizzes, assignments and projects. Many scholastic and research organization provide internet service to scholars, instructors as well as analysts. From the literature survey, we observed that only a minimum analysis has done been done regarding the comparative trial of internet utilization among scholars. This research paper is an investigation on the impact of internet utilization and the overall perceptions regarding the internet utilization among students coming from various disciplines like Engineering, Science and Humanities at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore. VIT students have now turned their contemplation to the utilize of internet for the motive of studying, conducting research and acquiring general facts. The study therefore is an attempt access the efficacy of the utilize of internet services and how it affects student’s educational attainment. The research design acquired was the survey method using questionnaires as the instrument for data collection. The population of the study was the entire students of the institute. The valuable feedback received from students will help student’s community to perceive the benefits of internet in their education.” The study could be favorable for scholars as well as for the academic institution.
