Abstract

It is well reclaimed statement that noteworthy cost savings can be comprehended by means of high content of reclaimed asphalt in the creation of fresh hot mix asphalt (HMA). Furthermore, it is eco-friendly alternative as it condenses the requirement for fresh materials. However, in India RAP is not often used in making of HMA and this treasured material is generally tainted for use in ow volume road. The present study attempts to calculate the cost effectiveness of reclaimed asphalt binder developed with the blend of 30 percent of reclaimed asphalt and 70 percent of virgin bitumen.
