MetamaterialBased Microstrip Antenna

Abstract

This paper discussed that micro strippatch antennawith use of meta material as a substrate that is unreal or unnatural material..Now days  patch antenna is widely used in wireless communication since it has many advantages like light weight ,small size, low cost but  there are also some limitation such as   gain  is low, and narrow bandwidth. To overcome these drawback of patch antenna , meta material structure  has been widely used since it has extraordinary electromagnetic properties such as negative permittivity and negative permeability both.. In. this paper , the usage of  meta material  , its basic structure and introduction is presented brieflyThe major objective of this paper is to analyze and comparative study to enhance the performance parameter of antenna using met material structure and why meta material patch antenna is better than ordinary antenna.
