Abstract

In 5G wireless communication systems, several users connected in the form of multiuser and such technology termed as massive MIMO. However, it is a upcoming 5G wireless communication techniques. Still many practical challenges that are hidden to practical use of massive MIMO system such as knowledge of channel state information and reciprocity during the estimation. One, in order to characterize the advantages of massive MIMO, here we required a more efficient technique for providing the channel state information (CSI). There are more throughputs and efficiency can be obtained due to the path multiplexing gain and the antenna gain. Massive MIMO provide good quality of service uniformly to all users. In this article, we suggest the performance evaluation of massive MIMO systems. In the performance evaluation, we focus on the study about the power control and savings of the massive MIMO uplink with maximal-ratio combining (MRC), zero-forcing (ZF) and minimum mean-square error (MMSE) receivers with the knowledge of perfect channel state. There is an important aspect of CSI acquisition in massive MIMO is that how to obtain CSI at receiver for the users. To solve such aspect, we propose channel estimation schemes at the user’s uplink sum rate. Finally, performance of Massive MIMO is evaluated using SINR and sum rate (Bits/Second/Hz).
