Abstract

Cloud computing is the provision of resources which is accessed through the internet. It is preferable than handling data on local storage.Virtual Machine, a secure isolated software Container, is able to run operating systems and applications. It has its own virtual servers, Virtual CPU, but it’s all virtual or simulated, not physical. Any user is able to access the virtual machine which is offered by a cloud service provider. Thus, controlling of virtual server can be gained by any user. In cloud Environment, abnormal behaviour of virtual machine might takes place. The proposed system identifies and predicts the virtual machine theft attack, by the spectral analysis of virtual machine activities and energy calculation concept which avoids the attackers for staying in the Virtual Machine for a long span and by compensating less amount for the service time providers. Hence the average time and threshold value is calculated to overcome from the loss. The proposed Method is executed using JAVA software with an API, which identifies and predicts the Virtual Machine theft attack by Spectral Analysis of Virtual Machine Activities and Energy Calculation
