DNA Profiling From The Dried Semen Gauze Over A Span Of Decade.

Abstract

The minuscule evidences play a vital role in the establishment of identity for the involvement of an individual who has committed the crime, unidentified or degraded dead bodies. missing identity persons and identification of perpetrators in sexual assault crime etc.   In such cases, DNA profiling has proven its connotation due to ambidexterity in all types of canister. It depends on the condition of biological samples, proper adumbrate of blotch and the techniques used for analysis and quantitation of DNA. This present study was carried out on boisterous semen gauze that were directed to environmental temperature and allied factors over a decade. Genetic Analyzer (Applied Biosystem 3500XL) and for proper determination of detail alleles Gene Mapper ID-X software was used. In this study, the substantially fixating on the semen samples that were directly exposed to the strident environment which can also façade the degradation and cross linking of adjacent thymine nucleotides were studied.
