The Implementation of Compensation for the Victim of Terrorism in Indonesia

Abstract

Terrorism attacks tend to cause long term suffering and damages. Therefore, compensation may become an option of legal protection for victim of terrorism attack. This research aim to analyze the implementation of compensation for victims of terrorism in Indonesia, as well as factors of its implementation. The results of the study indicate that even though compensation already being regulated, not all victims able to receive it. There are several key factors, ranging from aspects of legal substance to legal structures.
