Abstract

Projections to increase the population in Indonesia from 2020 to 2015 increase by 13,763 people (in thousands). This will affect the need for processed food. It is not uncommon for processed foods that are circulated on the market to not have a distribution permit. This is very dangerous because there is no guarantee that the food consumed meets quality standards, safety, and good nutrition. The state exists to provide guarantees of protection to consumers through legal policies that provide justice. The purpose of this study is to analyze the principle of justice in the regulation of criminal offenses related to the prohibition of distributing processed foods without permission. Provide input to the government, in efforts to tackle the crime. The research method used is descriptive-analytical with an empirical approach and field research with a qualitative approach.
