Enhanced Noise Suppression Approach for Hearing Aid

Abstract

Background noise is the most familiar grievance in hearing aids. Now a day’s enormous attempt are made to suppress background noise to considerable extent.  One of the best mechanisms for Background Noise Suppression is achieved by using Wiener Filter. This paper suggests Enhanced Noise Suppression Approach for background noise suppression. The Enhanced Noise Suppression Approach assimilates both the features of Wiener Filter depend on decision directed technique and two step noise contraction technique. Comprehensive MATLAB simulations, inspection and investigation of the results indicate that Enhanced Noise Suppression Approach also provides good noise suppression capacity.
