The Determinants of Employee Engagement in Private Sector in Malaysia

Abstract

In this study, the determinants of employee engagement were investigated to see how it influenced employee engagement in private sector in Klang Valley. Results of this study indicated that working environment, team and co-worker relationship, policies and procedures and workplace wellbeing had the significant impact on employee engagement whereas leadership, training and career development and compensation had insignificant impact on employee engagement.
