Abstract

This paper presents a report on Tilt Angle Optimization of the Solar Panel with Soft-Computing process. Specific forms of radiation give various exposures at specific incline angles from a plate. The tilt angle will also provide more power from the same panel if configured. A study was carried out on maximizing the tilt angle. During the first step, genetic algorithms were used to refine the tilt angle regularly, and a substantial power gain was achieved. For several power systems, concentrators or flat plates dependent on solar energy, solar monitoring is important to enhance device efficiency overall. The experimental approach to modelling a process to be managed or to plant unknown parameters is the process recognition, a crucial factor in the process operation. For the purpose of defining and modelling a two axis solar tracking device, an Artificial Neural Network is introduced. An intuitive proportional integral and a fluid-based logic control device were both researched and added to the solar tracker function, with and without the use of scaling factors.
