Investigation and Performance Analysis of Designed Multi-Level Inverter

Abstract

This paper describes an approach to the Design and Performance Analysis of Multilevel Inverter.The effects of increased level in Multilevel Topology is presented in Simulation Results. The comparative analysis has been presented between 3-L  and 5-L Inverter. In this paper, Simulation Results are presented for 3-Ls as well as 5-L Inverter. The simulation has been done in MATLAB Software for finding the following effects of RL load on THD by varying the Resistance and Inductor Value. The ML has the capability to produce staircase ac Vo  waveform by using less number of switches; due to this, the losses and cost will be reduced.
