Abstract

Asia’s largest network is constituting of Indian railways and furthermore second biggest network of the world that drives under solitary administration. Railway turned into the top proposes for transportation in light for its capacity, responsiveness as well as speed. In reality, little advancement also will help in the development of a nation. The low maintenance of the railways tracks brings about mishaps. Railways split detection is given as an extent of railways security. The proposed framework utilizes current innovation. The system utilizes GPS system along with GSM module, Arduino nano, IR sensors for transmitting and receiving messages during a fault condition. This work proposes a practical answer for the issue of cracks on the tracks of railway identification using IR sensor that utilizes its transmitter and receiver for tracing the faulty section of the track which at that point retouched quickly with the goal that numerous lives will be spared. Using a GSM module, the fault data can be remotely transmitted to the railway safety management centre and it incorporates imperfection level and area data which is obtained by embedded GPS receiver. If these defects can be reduced the loss of life and property can be minimized.
