Smart and Safety Compartments in Trains

Abstract

In this current era of technology, almost all systems have been modernized.  Indian railway is the fourth-longest railway network in the world which implements traffic. Nowadays e-ticket booking has become more familiar with transportation. In this research, our goal is to minimize railway reservation fraud and thereby providing more facility to passengers. People who need a reservation or ticket booking are facilitated with the advent of barcodes which simplify the reservation systems. Standalone, a barcode scanner module is used to verify a person’s identity. Here, with the help of GSM, passenger's safety is ensured. GSM also plays a major role to ensure the departure and arrival destination of the passenger.
