Evolution and Challenges of Cognitive Computing

Abstract

Cognitive computing is a multidisciplinary field of research; it is an amalgamation of complex thinking process of brain and complex computations of the computer. The goal of cognitive computing is to furnish the computer systems with the thinking, feeling and decision making ability. The contributions in this survey include giving insights into current computing models, a comparative study of the computing models. It also presents a precise review of the need for cognitive computing and brain computer interface and then presents achievements and finally introduces some challenges in cognitive computing.
