Abstract

With the fast development of Internet of Things (IoT), a large amount of data is being generated continuously by different sources. Storing all the raw data locally in cloud is not advisable and it has many threats as the network is deployed in remote. To ensure secured transmission among nodes for IoT a frame work has been proposed by integrating Cloud computing and Fog computing. IoT layer is comprised of numerous sensor devices and other networked devices. The proposed work is to introduce a fog layer in between cloud and IoT, here the sensor generates the data and sends it to the fog layer. The data are partitioned into blocks using partition algorithm. To enhance the security, the data blocks are encrypted using encryption algorithm. This generates the corresponding cipher data and distributes to the cloud servers. In cloud layer the data are recollected, reassembled and decrypted into original data.
