Abstract

GMAW can be a vital metal joining process. Owing to its extreme malleability, the process GMAW is widely used to weld materials and thickness, with high level of weld ability. GMAW uses single passes and multiple passes in wieldable materials. The breeding of welding fumes is an evitable a part of gas metal arc welding (GMAW) process. Many reports of acute toxicity, primarily one or two welding fumes, are cataloged due to surplus exposures. Smoke-restriction has taken considerable interest in promoting a safe and efficient working atmosphere. This study examines the different types of shielding gases used to assess the immense hazards of welding fumes that are based on fumes and their accumulation rate. This paper is a comprehensive review of fume formation rates in welding.
