Abstract

The security forces a vast effect on the exhibition of any system. A portion of security issues of MANET are black hole attack, flooding, wormhole attack and so on. AODV has no surveillance for a notable “Black Hole” attack. The malicious nodes termed Black hole are one that consent to forward packet to goal however don't forward packet deliberately. These black holes take an interest in the nexus actively and debase the capabilities of nexus in the long run. This paper proposes a strategy that initially identifies a black hole, its attack and afterward imparts another route avoiding such node. Here an endeavor was rendered to evaluate the capabilities of AODV and NNIDS AODV in the existence of numerous black hole nodes in terms of packet delivery ratio and throughput. Herewith Neighbor Node IDS, packet delivery ratio enhanced to 18% and throughput increases 19% in the existence of up to 16% black hole nodes for different pause times.
