Increasing Fodder Crop Yields under Water-saving Irrigation Technologies in the South of Kazakhstan
Abstract
The relevance: Agriculture is one of the key sectors of Kazakhstan’s economy. In the arid conditions of the south of Kazakhstan, the problems of rational use of water resources and the implementation of effective irrigation technologies providing sustainable and high yields of fodder crops while preserving soil fertility acquire special urgency. The main aim: Fine sprinkling is a promising technology for optimizing plant development conditions. The task of the research was to develop technological methods to increase crop yields using additional fertilizers with the technology of fine sprinkling of fodder crops. Methods: experiments; observation; measurement; comparison; analysis and synthesis. Results: The considered technological methods of cultivation of fodder crops with the use of foliar fertilization of plants ensure the increase in the biological yield of the plants under cultivation.
