Abstract

The relevance: Increasing water scarcity is impacting the agricultural sector around the world. In the current conditions of economic development in Kazakhstan, the efficiency of water use in agriculture is extremely low due to the use of outdated irrigation methods and technologies, as well as significant water transportation costs. The main aim: In order to achieve water saving in agriculture, it is necessary to introduce modern irrigation methods and water-saving technologies, reduce water losses during transportation and implement a number of other measures aimed at increasing water use productivity, which is especially important in the context of growing water shortages. Methods: The presented technologies of impulse irrigation, finely dispersed sprinkling, drip irrigation and technical means of their implementation with the disclosure of the features of their work are aimed at increasing the productivity of irrigation water use and creating optimal conditions for plant development. Results: The considered technologies and technical means of impulse, fine-dispersed sprinkling and drip-rain irrigation are aimed at water saving in the process of irrigation and creation of optimal conditions for the development of plants, which in general provides an increase in productivity of irrigation water use and increase in crop yield.
