Abstract

The relevance: At present, the problem of rational use of land and water resources is an important and urgent environmental and economic objective. It is important because the water resources of Kazakhstan are distributed unevenly, and in the south, they are not enough. At the same time, the extensive way of development and lack of economic incentives for resource-saving contributed to an unjustified increase in water consumption, deterioration of water quality and its depletion in a number of river basins. The main aim: The most important activities for the solution of the above-mentioned problems are the scientific substantiation and development of new methodologies for planning and implementation of water use processes in irrigation systems. It implies the modern level of computer technology development, methods of mathematical and physical modeling, computer technologies for technological processes management providing optimal use of water and energy resources, high quality and efficiency of management decisions, a good condition of irrigated lands, and normal ecological situation of water bodies. Methods: In the process of operation of the sensor DUV-2/0,005-5, it was found out that it is necessary to decipher the error codes that the sensor sends together with the measured data to the Server. Results: The use of a DUV 2/0.005-5 water level sensor has resulted in a more accurate determination of water level and flow rate and faster information retrieval than known methods. The application of this device in the context of water resources shortage will provide conditions for impartial metering of water use on the one hand and the development of an environmentally-friendly behavior of water users. It will lead to an increase in the level of technological development of agriculture and labor productivity. Successes in practice with regard to the use of the water level sensor at gauging stations enabled spreading the experience of using the device in the water sector. The effect of it will be more significant, as, with the increase in quantity and improvement of qualitative indicators, effective water resources management and water conservation will be achieved with further development of irrigated agriculture.
