Thermo Mechanical Response of Viscoelastic Double Porous Materials
Abstract
The response of an isotopic, homogeneous double porous viscoelastic medium has been investigated due to thermo mechanical source, i.e., a normal force and a thermal source. The problem has been solved using integral transforms, Laplace and Fourier transforms. The components, normal stress, tangential stress, equilibrated stresses and temperature distribution, are obtained in the transformed domain. To obtain the components in the physical domain, a numerical inversion technique has been used. These components are computed numerically by taking a particular model. These numerical values are discussed graphically to study the viscous effect. Some particular cases of interest are also deduced to show generality of the problem.
