Stroke Prediction Using Artificial Neural Network and Iot Based Wearable Device for Stroke Monitoring

Abstract

Accurate detection and timely treatment to any disease can improve its prognosis. In spite of medical advancements, promptly predicting deadly disease like stroke is very challenging and crucial. The goal of this research work is to accurately predict stroke prescient to its occurrence using deep learning techniques. A deep learning based Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model is developed to predict stroke effectively. In addition, a real-time stroke detection, Internet of Things (IoT) based wearable device with early warning ability has been designed. During dangerous situations, the alert system notifies the user to respond appropriately to avoid the occurrence of stroke.
