Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the fastest-growing technologies in the present world scenario. It interconnects devices and data so that it can provide quick, effective, and minimal-cost facilities. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a revolutionary technology that is supposed to become omnipresent in the future, helping businesses to overcome safety, detection, and asset managing problems. RFID technology, in association with IoT, can solve many real-world business problems. Aviation industry faces a substantial monetary loss every year for the lost, damaged, and misplaced baggage. To solve this issue, a baggage handling system for the airport is designed and described in this paper with the help of RFID technology and IoT. This process will make sure of an infrequent baggage loss at the airport, and it will be a lot beneficial for the aviation industry.
