BER Performance Analysis of MIMO Wireless Communications in Frequency and Time Selective Channels

Abstract

In today's globe wireless experts improve spectrum efficiency and the capacities and coverage of wireless networks. By using multiple antenna technology called Space Time Wireless technology the wireless performance could be increased and improved.There has been progress in the current MIMO methods which   further enhance the general WLAN and Wide Area (WAN) networks. The multipath efficiency increase, which could be accomplished by means of effective space time coding technology (STC) is very essential in multipath. This coding of space time alongside the Alamouti Scheme is a very dynamic subject for research. In the upcoming generation of mobiles ; elevated information rates, reliable communications connections and vast multimedia capacities will be necessary, for which spacetime block codes (STBCs) is the  only solution. This paper presents the spacetime block codes (STBCs) for wireless networks using multiple antennas at the transmitter and  the receiver. The simulations were conducted in MATLAB.
