Digital Image Watermarking Using RDWT with SVD and Firefly Algorithms

Abstract

Image watermarking is one of the finest technology to embedded any image in to the other image. In spite of various technologies used for watermarking SVD using Firefly is the best technique which provides optimum results. SVD generates the watermarking and firefly is also helpful in the watermarking as well as encryption. The combination of watermarking and cryptography is best procedure for generating the secured watermarking. There are various scaling factors can be used in firefly but this research uses multiple scaling factor. Structure similarity index measure (SSIM) is measured in this research. In addition the watermarked image is processed with basic techniques like smoothening, sharpening etc. and then encrypted using firefly.
