Abstract

Unified power quality controller in power systems has more attentions due to power quality issues. In this paper, the power quality issues are controlled and compensated by the proposed system of new control technique based unified power quality controller (UPQC). The active power filter is proposed in this paper for the voltage sag and swells using the UPQC device. The wind energy is compensated done in the way of shunt and series converter compensation. The multi inverter is used to mitigate the issues in grid with wind based system. The active power filter used to provide switching signals for the proposed multi converter system. The results are verified and obtained by using in MATLAB/Simulink.
