Signature Based E-Voting System with Anonymity Using Blockchain Technology

Abstract

In all the democratic countries election is the most important event. But, a huge amount of people around the world do not trust the system that runs the election process. This has become major concern in those countries. Hacking, vote manipulations, capturing the polling booth are the major issues in the democratic country. Here, we will find out the best possible solution to resolve the issues experienced by the democratic countries. This paper will highlight the implementation of a decentralized E- Voting System using blockchain that includes the use of different type of signatures combined with the Secure Hashing Algorithm 256 (SHA256). As a result, we will see which blockchain based electronic voting system will be more secure when it comes in function; taking time and efficiency its parameters. This Electronic Voting System will also preserve the anonymity of the voter and will also represent one of the applications of the blockchain.
