Abstract

The aim of this research was to Develop and Identify K-11 Brebes-Scholars' Alternative
Conception with Rasch Analysis. The research method used a 4D model (Defining, Designing,
Developing, and Disseminating). The instrument developed has been tested to 36 Scholars (10
tole (call for boys) and 26 mbae (call for girls), whose ages were average of 16 years-old) in one
of school in Brebes. The data was examined using Rasch analysis on validity, reliability, and
level of difficulty. The resulting research showed that the Static Fluid Four-Tier Instrument
(SFFTI) diagnostic test is able to identify scholars' alternative concepts of static fluid concepts.
