Abstract

A novel coronavirus causes the infectious disease identified as Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). A mild to moderate respiratory illness appears in the infected person with this COVID-19 virus. Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV) are caused by this dangerous Coronavirus. At the end of 2019, the COVID-19 disease was exposed to the world from the city Wuhan, China. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), COVID-19 becomes an outbreak throughout the world, the infected persons and deaths are rapidly increasing day by day. Lung infection is majorly seen in most COVID-19 patients as per clinical studies. Chest X-ray is used to diagnose the lung infection. In this paper, we have used AI and deep learning techniques to detect COVID-19 infected X-ray images which help radiologists to diagnose the Coronavirus disease. To evaluate the model performance, we have utilized standard dataset having chest X-ray images.
