Interaction between Learning Media and Creative Thinking Level on Learning Results of Ship Electrical Systems in Poltekpel Surabaya: A Survey

Abstract

At present learning activities cannot be separated from the progress of science and technology, because science and technology have provided adequate facilities for the learning process. One learning process that cannot be separated from technology is based learning. The learning process is basically a process of communication and interaction that occurs between instructors and students where the teacher in this case acts as a messenger and students as recipients of the message. The message delivered by the teacher can be in the form of verbal or non-verbal messages, therefore to facilitate the communication process the learning media needs support as an intermediary. The development of information and communication technology has an impact on the development of learning media at this time in particular the development of media in the form of Phet software that has interactive circuit simulation features. The application of learning media approach using computer based training (CBT) with Phet software in the Ship Electrical System course is thought to be able to produce a variety of good aspects.
