Abstract

In TSTU developed mechanism for generating low-frequency oscillations due to the
electromechanical actuator to the pallet. In the laboratory of the department conducted field tests for
drying of silkworm cocoons. The observations revealed that silkworm cocoons processed in the
interval of temperatures at 65-70 °C using vibration waves died within 5-10 minutes and within 10
days at 38-42 °C the cocoons dried to 10-12% humidity. In the process of primary processing of
silkworm cocoons according to these parameters, the maximum energy saved by the use of elastic
waves and infrared radiation.
