Abstract

Breast cancer (BC) is the most common and second-leading reason behind cancer deaths in India. Breast cancer strikes women at all ages. Indeed, at the age of forty, its incidence seems to increase dramatically. Machine learning plays a significant role within the medical field by analyzing the big datasets and discovers the hidden patterns which aim in the decision making of diagnosis and prediction of the disease. In this paper, we used Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset (WBCD) and machine learning techniques such as SVM, Random Forest, CART, and Naive Baye’s.The results showed that Artificial Neural Networks has the highest accuracy of 98.82 %compared to other methods.
