Blended Method Of Teaching English At Higher Education – A New Way To Educate

Abstract

This paper explores how efficient is the Blended method of teaching English at Higher Education.
This study comprised of experimental sample consisting of students from departments of Computer
Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gojan Engineering
College, India. A quantitative methodology is implemented to show that proficient learners utilize the
existing resources to unravel real world difficulties through blended method of teaching. The study
indicates that the efficiency of blended teaching of English language at higher education level is high.
The outcomes of this study has shown that no significant difference between the sub-samples of sex
and residence area with Experimental I and Experimental II groups exists with respect to pre-test
achievement scores in English. But for the control group with respect to pre-test achievement scores
in English a significant difference exists for the subsample sex. In case of post-test excepting
residence subsample in Experimental II group of Electronics and Communication Engineering all
other subsamples have no significant differences.
