Design and Implementation of Efficient AES Algorithm for Secure Communications

Abstract

Effective algorithms are developed to preserve the confidentiality of highly sensitive data that are to be
transferred. Our research aims to use steganography to hide image, video, audio and text in another
image forming stego-objects. The message is embedded using the Hash-Least Significant
Bits(LSB)technique and RGB values are taken in the form of bits, using Advance Encryption
standard(AES) algorithm for encoding and decoding via the Orthogonal Frequency Division
Multiplication (OFDM)method. We also evaluate the length of the text, the size of the video frames and
the image size, determine which approach is better for data concealment and MATLAB is used to analyze
PSNR, MSE and SNR and the values obtained are plotted for different images.
