Risk Identification in the Implementation of Islamic Quality Assurance at Muhammadiyah University of Magelang

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the risk management process at Higher Education in terms of implementing the Islamic Quality Assurance System. The formulation of the problem is carried out by identifying the possible risks that can occur during the implementation of the quality assurance system in higher education and evaluating risk management measures as preventive or control measures. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Describe the phenomena of various situations and conditions of research objects in the academic atmosphere. The research location is Muhammadiyah University, Magelang, an ISO 9001: 2015 certified institution. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis is carried out stages: data reduction, data display, and concluding. This research is to identify risk events in the process of implementing the Islamic quality assurance system to find out the frequency level of how often the event occurs and the level of influence on sustainability. Know the risks that must be minimized by using the Risk Map matrix. Then identify risk agents to be given a correlation to risk events using the House of Risk matrix. From this research, it is expected to be able to handle which is expected to reduce the risk events that arise.
