Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) as a new trend in technology is expected to give a solution to
reduce the difficulty of medical staff in the ICU by facilitating them to provide more
effective and efficient services for patients. The implementation of IoT in ICU requires
several considerations. The aim of this study helps to give insight to the hospital ICU
about the important factors that help ICU to implement IoT-based technology. This study
uses DEMATEL (Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) based ANP
(Analytical Network Process) methods to see the influence and priority of the factors
more clearly by considering the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) and
COPRAS (Complex Proportional Assessment) method is used to determine technological
priorities that can be applied. The results of this study found that IoT-based smart
infusion monitoring is the first priority technology to be applied in hospital ICUs
