Abstract

Energy saving is one of the design challenges considered in the sensor network due to limited
energy resource. To improve the system performance the concept of clustering is included during
the system design. Cluster based networks generally used to minimize the power consumption.
Also the nodes are connected here properly and provide the stable route during transmission of
information. Week nodes are identified in terms of applying energy reference value and signal
quality from neighbour nodes then the routes is drawn between the nodes using well powered
nodes. Simulation analysis is undertaken for the efficiency analysis of proposed mechanism and
the parameters like packet delivery proportion, delay, energy consumption are analysed with the
convention protocol.
