School Services From Student Perspective: Study On Service Quality Improvement

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the quality of school services and improvement based on student perspective. This study used a descriptive quantitative method in a private school in Gowa Regency with the study population was all 3rd graders of 136 students. The results of the study showed that school services based on student perspectives were in a good category. This shows that the service had been able to meet student satisfaction. Service quality improvement can occur with additional availability of school facilities, teacher competencies and abilities as well as learning atmosphere in schools. It can be concluded that service quality improvement from schools is needed to provide satisfaction to students. The recommendation for service improvement is to carry out strategic planning supported by a high commitment from stakeholders.
