Cathodoluminescent UV Radiation Sources With A Field-Emission Cathode Based On Carbon Materials
Abstract
. Currently, Various Ultraviolet (Uv) Lamps Are Widely Used In Various Fields, Depending On The Purpose, For Example, In Laser Technology, Medicine, Ecology, Petrochemistry, And Other Areas. Ultraviolet Light Sources, Widely Used At Present, Have Several Disadvantages And Limitations For Achieving Energy-Efficient Lighting. Therefore, One Of The Most Urgent Tasks In Modern Vacuum Electronics Is To Create A New Generation Of Uv Light Sources. Recently, A New Type Of Lamp Has Been Developed, Called Cathodoluminescent Ultraviolet Light Sources Based On Field-Emission Cathodes. To Develop Cathodoluminescent Sources Of Ultraviolet Radiation With A Field-Emission Cathode, Several Advanced Uv-Emitting Phosphors With An Efficiency Of Up To 20% Have Been Identified As Well As A Number Of Methods For Their Synthesis, Which Affects The Grain Size And Their Efficiency. During The Test, The Radiation Intensity Was Found To Depend On The Grain Size Of The Uv-Emitting Phosphors In Use. The Features Of The Field-Emission Cathode From Polyacrylonitrile Carbon Fiber Were Studied. An Increase In Current Density Using Cathode Current Training Was Proved.
